Job duties for
Heavy Equipment Operator:
-
Responsible for inspecting trucks before and after you use them, load and unload cargo
-
Follow company and governmental safety guidelines
-
Completes any other related tasks as needed
-
Inspect large equipment before and after use to ensure they are working properly
-
Load and unload cargo and move them to the appropriate area
-
Follow all safety procedures while operating equipment
-
Perform regular maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
-
Report needs for larger repairs to the appropriate parties
Qualifications and Desired Skills for
Heavy Equipment Operator:-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Minimum of one year of experience operating a variety of heavy equipment (including front loaders, mini excavators, and cranes).

Possession of a commercial driver's license (CDL) or a willingness to obtain the license
-
Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards
-
Strong work ethic and physical ability to lift 50+ pounds
-
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and operate heavy machinery
-
Ability to stand for duration of shift
-
Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs
-
Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reach
