Manages the operations of Cleveland State University (CSU) Housing Department, fostering a residential environment that supports student success, safety, engaged learning, respect, and wellness. Develops and executes short- and long-term strategies for occupancy, residential transitions, and property maintenance. Oversees departmental budgets and allocates resources. Carries out departmental goals, policies, procedures, and standards. Maintains efficient systems to ensure timely and responsive communication regarding policies, housing assignments, facilities, and general assistance. Collaborates with CSU Student Success and Belonging to support the overall health, well-being, and success of residential students. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in business administration, student affairs, public administration, facilities management, or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in a related, complex, self-supporting, or for-profit business environment, of which two (2) of the four (4) years are supervisory or leadership experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferably in business administration, student affairs, public administration, facilities management, or related field.
- Higher education management experience in self-supporting, revenue generating campus support services, and/or contracted services administration.
- Experience in higher education student affairs.
