We are seeking an experienced and energetic Lawn Foreman (and laborer), and an experienced Landscape Foreman (and laborer) to lead our commercial lawn maintenance team, and our Landscape crew. These roles are perfect for a motivated professional with a solid background in landscape and grounds maintenance, who thrives on outdoor work and team leadership. Responsibilities
Lawn Foreman
- Lead and supervise a crew of grounds maintenance workers on commercial lawn care routes, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards
- Oversee routine lawn care activities including mowing, edging, whipping, blowing, and weed care
- Operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively during daily operations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site at all times
Landscape Foreman
- Lead and supervise a crew of landscape worker on jobs, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
- Oversee routine landscape activites, including, mulching, shrub trimming, weeding, and other various landscape projects
- Operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively during daily operations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work site at all times
Skills
- Extensive experience in commercial lawn care, landscape maintenance, and groundskeeping with a minimum of 3-5 years in the industry
- Proven supervising or crew management experience with strong leadership skills
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hardscape tools safely
- Strong outdoor work ethic with excellent teamwork abilities and leadership qualities
- Familiarity with construction projects or similar outdoor environments is a plus
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in commercial groundskeeping. (will train laborers)
- Valid drivers license.
- Ability to drive and back up truck and trailer.
