Our Public Areas Attendant will help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and guest-ready condition of all public spaces throughout the resort. This essential housekeeping and facilities support role ensures lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and shared spaces remain clean, welcoming, and well-maintained for all guests.

What You’ll Do
-
Clean and sanitize all public restrooms throughout the resort.

Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, lounges, hallways, and high-traffic guest areas.

Remove trash and maintain cleanliness in all public and resort common spaces.

Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, cobweb removal, and surface cleaning of interior and exterior areas.

Shampoo carpets and assist with deep cleaning projects as needed.

Maintain cleanliness of Marina Cottage and Prop Shop on scheduled rotations.

Restock supplies in designated storage and public areas (Front Desk, Wisconsin Room, etc.).

Respond to guest requests, questions, and service needs in a timely and professional manner.

Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or guest feedback to housekeeping leadership.

Follow daily assignments from the Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper.

Ensure all assigned duties are completed on time and according to resort standards.
Requirements:
What We’re Looking For

Previous housekeeping, janitorial, custodial, cleaning, hospitality, or facilities experience preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.

Positive attitude and strong guest service mindset.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic resort environment.

Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive cleaning motions.

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks requiring close attention and focus.
