Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and hardworking team member to join our bakery. This role is a dynamic mix of customer service, cashiering, barista work, cleaning, restocking, and supporting our bakers with inventory and organization. Ideal candidates are punctual, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable transportation is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Operate the register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash/credit payments
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages
- Restock bakery displays and assist the baker with prepping ingredients and supplies
- Monitor inventory and notify management when items need restocking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in front-of-house and back-of-house areas
- Wash dishes, sanitize work areas, and ensure all health and safety standards are met
- Organize supplies and product displays for easy access and visual appeal
- Perform opening, closing, or mid-shift duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, bakery, or retail preferred but not required
- Must have weekend availability
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable handling food and beverages safely and hygienically
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
