Job Title: Care & Support Coordinator
FLSA Status: Part-time, Hourly, Nonexempt
Hours: 28 hrs/wk
Pay Rate: $23-$25 per hour
Report to: Care & Support Pastor

The Role
Autumn Ridge Church is seeking an individual to serve as our Care & Support Coordinator to further the mission of Autumn Ridge Church. The role will help the Care & Support Pastor facilitate their pastoral duties, primarily through leadership, coordination, and strategic oversight of the Care & Support Ministry. This role ensures that individuals and families experience meaningful care through well-organized ministries, strong volunteer teams, and effective ministry systems. This role partners closely with the Care & Support Pastor to implement ministry vision, develop leaders, and continuously improve care pathways.
Responsibilities
Ministry Leadership & Coordination
- Oversee the coordination of all Care & Support ministries.
Develop and optimize care systems, workflows, and pathways.
Implement ministry strategy and identify opportunities for growth.
Partner with the Care & Support Pastor to execute care initiatives.
Project & People Management
- Coordinate care services, for example care meals, visitation, benevolence, marriage ministry, recovery, and counseling pathways.
- Lead and improve ministry systems and communication, for example prayer, mental health groups, weddings, funerals, senior ministry, and related events.
- Ensure timely and compassionate follow-up for individuals.
- Manage complex or sensitive care situations and logistics with discretion.
- Equip and support ministry leaders and volunteers.
Strategy & Leadership
- Recruit, train, and develop volunteer teams.
- Build and sustain effective ministry systems and structures.
- Track ministry effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with staff and other ministry teams.
- Ensure confidentiality across all care processes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Flexible and willing to embrace change.
- Leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Emotional intelligence and discretion.
- Experience managing teams and projects.
- Database proficiency.
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize workflow.
