Server/Evening Lead Job Description — Waters Edge at 47 Sag Hours: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
Position Overview - Waters Edge at 47 Sag is looking for energetic, guest‑focused servers and staff leadership to join our evening team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere while serving food and drinks with consistency, professionalism, and lakeside charm. You’ll be the face of our evening service, helping guests unwind after a day on Lake George.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non‑alcoholic beverages
- Taking orders and serving our evening menu food items
- Check IDs and follow all alcohol service laws and café policies
- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests
- Handle payments accurately using the café’s POS system
- Collaborate with café staff to ensure smooth evening operations
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance that reflects the Waters Edge brand
Qualifications
- Knowledge of beer, wine, and basic cocktails
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Must be 18+ and legally able to serve alcohol in New York State
- Reliability and punctuality for the 5 PM–10 PM shift
