Pipelayer, Tailman, Skilled Laborers for Underground Utilities
Position: Full-Time
Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Pipelayers, Tailman, and Skilled laborers to lay pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains.
Responsibilities- Assist Pipelayer:
· Install/repair sanitary sewers, storm water sewer structures or pipe systems.
· Align and position pipe to prepare them for welding or sealing.
· Ensure that grading and bedding is at proper elevation before culverts are installed.
· Install or use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
· Directs and communicates with excavation operator during pipe installation.
· Holds and guides pipe into position checked by laser or instrument.
· Assist Foreman, Supervisors, and other construction site workers with other various tasks.
Requirements:
· Requires prior direct underground utilities (sewer, main line water, drainage) experience.
