Hike Doggie Flatirons, is a dog hiking company based in Arvada, CO. Our goal is to make dogs as happy as they make us!
We need hikers willing to work a 1 -3 days a week who love dogs and love taking pictures of dogs. We primarily hike in the Boulder & Golden region.

Are you a dog obsessed individual who truly LOVES making dogs happy? We're looking for someone who meets these qualifications:
- Available on weekdays from 9am to 12:30pm for hiking excursions.
- Passionate about dogs: Truly dog-obsessed, with a strong understanding of dog behavior and needs. Comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and able to hike up to 4 large dogs on a leash with confidence and control.
- Physically resilient: Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions, including heat, snow, and rain, while maintaining a positive attitude and enthusiasm every day.
- Physically capable: Able to hike 3-5 miles daily on various terrains (including steep, rocky, and uneven trails) while wearing a hiking backpack weighing up to a 20-pounds. Must be free from injuries or conditions that could limit the ability to lift dogs weighing up to 60 pounds, the safe handling of dogs, or extended hiking.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual: Dependable team player with strong time-management skills for scheduled hikes and client appointments.
- Reliable transportation: Must have your own vehicle for commuting and a clean driving record to be able to safely drive a Hike Doggie vehicle. Living near our office is ideal, as the job requires frequent driving to and from the Front Range from the Denver Metro Area to transport and hike dogs.
- Excellent communication skills: Able to interact professionally with both your Hike Doggie team and with dogs and their owners using a friendly, customer-focused approach.
- Detail-oriented and fluent in English: Able to read, understand, and follow detailed instructions and directions, in addition to communicating clearly in spoken and written English.
- Technology and navigation savvy: Must own a reliable smartphone with a data plan for navigation, communication, taking photos, and scheduling apps. Must be comfortable using GPS to navigate trails, locate client addresses, and adapt routes as needed.
