Assembly Technician – focus on assembling and wiring high-end, one-of-a-kind lighting fixtures, while also gaining cross-training in other areas of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assembly: Build and assemble custom lighting fixtures according to detailed specifications and drawings.
- Perform basic wiring and electrical connections for lighting components.
- Use hand tools and power tools to fit and secure parts with precision.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work orders.
- Test and troubleshoot completed products to ensure full functionality and compliance with quality standards.
- Inspect finished assemblies for accuracy, finish quality, and durability before packaging.
- Collaborate with fabrication and crating teams to maintain efficient production flow.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Position Requirements:
- Experience with hand tools and power tools in a production or assembly environment.
- Basic electrical knowledge (wiring, connections, safety protocols).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written procedures.
- Good manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures).
- Problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
Shift/Pay
- $22 - $23/hour
- Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shift starting at either 6 am, 7 am or 8 am
- Must be available for overtime (REQUIRED!)
- Must be available to stay late when needed
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
