American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience for a position that splits time equally between CT scanning and general X-ray imaging.

Hospital-based imaging department with responsibilities split 50/50 between CT scanning and general X-ray
-
Canon CT scanner used for computed tomography procedures
-
Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
3x12 hour shifts per week

Floating to general X-ray is required up to 50% of the time

13-week contract

Minimum of 3 years of CT technologist experience required

Current BLS certification required

Proficiency with Canon CT equipment

Experience performing diagnostic radiographic procedures and computed tomography

ARRT certification required; state license required if applicable

Perform computed tomography procedures to produce sectional anatomic images for interpretation by licensed practitioners

Perform diagnostic radiography procedures including general X-ray imaging

Corroborate patient condition and exercise professional judgment to ensure successful procedure completion

Provide appropriate patient care and maintain a demeanor consistent with medical ethics
