Summary:
A Barista creates the Starbucks Experience for our guests by delivering prompt and courteous service, expertly crafted beverages and products, while maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable store environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet guests and provide friendly, courteous and prompt service

Demonstrate knowledge of all menu items, products and offers

Receive and enter orders into the POS system, process payments and make change quickly and accurately

Provide quality beverage and food products by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards

Verify accuracy and deliver guest orders

Maintain a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events

Discover and respond appropriately to guest needs

Cleaning duties as assigned to maintain a safe, clean and comfortable store environment

Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
-
Unload and stock inventory as needed

Follow uniform and grooming standards and policies
-
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
-
Ability to follow directions, work in a fast paced, guest responsive environment
-
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate with associates, management and guests.

Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift
-
Minimum lifting, pushing and pulling of 50 pounds
-
Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, writing, typing, verbal communication.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays
