We are looking for a dependable and experienced Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in landscape maintenance and irrigation systems, including working with sprinklers, valves, and irrigation pipes. This position involves maintaining outdoor properties, diagnosing irrigation issues, and ensuring landscapes remain healthy and visually appealing.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine landscape maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and weed control.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and install irrigation systems.
- Repair and replace sprinklers, valves, irrigation pipes, and related components.
- Identify irrigation leaks and perform necessary repairs.
- Monitor irrigation performance and adjust systems as needed.
- Plant and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf areas.
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and site conditions.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (required).
- Have landscaping and irrigation experience (preferred).
- Experience working with sprinklers, irrigation valves, and irrigation pipes (required).
- Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation system issues.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, edgers, and blowers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with commercial landscaping properties.
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers and timers.
- Ability to read irrigation plans and diagrams.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
