Classic American Auto Parts E-Commerce Specialist (In-Person)
Job Brief:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, in-person E-Commerce Specialist to join our team selling parts for American vehicles from the 1950s to the 1980s. You will work on-site to manage sales and customer service across eBay and BigCommerce. No prior experience with classic fitment, vintage brake systems, suspension components or Mopar applications is required-we'll teach you everything you need to know. What matters most is a genuine interest in classic cars and a willingness to learn.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $40,000 per year
- Commission: 1% commission on total monthly store sales
- Earning Potential: Expected $70,000+ total annual compensation based on current store sales
- Commission Cap: Uncapped earning potential
- Payout Schedule: Paid out on the 15th of each month
Key Responsibilities
- Fitment Verification: Learn to verify precise parts fitment and year-to-year interchangeability for 1950s–1980s American cars and trucks with training and support from our team.
- Technical Support: Answer customer inquiries via phone and messages regarding drum-to-disc brake conversions, master cylinders, control arm geometry, and Mopar-specific setups- building your expertise over time.
- Manage Listings: Write accurate, keyword-rich listings on eBay and BigCommerce, highlighting fitment specifications, measurements, and cross-references.
- On-Site Collaboration: Work directly with our inventory and shipping teams to double-check physical parts against order details before they ship.
- Resolution Handling: Professionally resolve buyer inquiries and eBay cases related to classic vehicle compatibility issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Genuine Enthusiasm: A real passion for classic American Cars and trucks-even if it's mostly from YouTube, car shows, or working on your own project vehicle.
- Willingness to Learn: Eager to dive into fitment guides, interchange manuals, and technical resources to become an expert on the job.
- Basic Computer Comfort: comfortable typing, navigating websites, and learning new software (we'll train you on eBAY and BigCommerce).
- Communications Skills: Friendly, clear communicator who's comfortable talking to customers by phone and message.
- Attendance: Reliable transportation to work consistently from our physical location.
Preferred Qualifications
- Any hands-on experience with cars (even basic maintenance, a hobby project, or family garage time).
- Familiarity with car culture, forums, or classic vehicle communities
- Interest in eventually learning parts catalogs like Hollander Interchange manuals
