American Valmark is a rapidly growing precision CNC machine shop serving the defense, aerospace, semiconductor, medical, and industrial manufacturing industries. What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T
- Perform machine setups, tool changes, offsets, and program prove-outs
- Produce precision parts while maintaining tight tolerances
- Inspect completed parts using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot machining issues and identify process improvements
- Work closely with programmers, management, and fellow machinists
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Experience with both CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
- Strong setup and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience machining aluminum, stainless steel, plastics, and other common materials
- Ability to inspect your own work using calipers, micrometers, indicators, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and dependable work ethic
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment

Job Details
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday
- 8.5-hour shift
- Overtime available
Pay: Competitive and based on experience.
