What You'll Do:
Be a daily touchpoint of encouragement for residents living with mental health challenges.

Duties and responsibilities
- Supervise medication for residents; follow state and licensure regulations at all times.
- Promote independence for each resident.
- Observes and responds appropriately to the needs of the residents.
- Provide support, guidance, and crisis intervention to the residents.
- Promote the personal hygiene of the residents.
- Assist and observe residents during mealtimes in the dining room.
- Report and document any change in resident behavior or physical wellbeing to the supervisor.
- Complete daily documentation, filing and report incidents promptly and accurately.
- Communicate with doctors, families, guardians, etc. of the residents with appropriate releases on file.
- Coordinate resident doctor appointments and arrange transportation.
- Assists residents to open mail and bring any items needing attention to the supervisor.
- Stock sodas and supplies.
- Assist residents in accessing belongings that are locked up.
- Complete regular supply order.
- Light cleaning of medication room.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident information.
- Check company email once per shift, responding timely, appropriately, and professionally, to communicate internally and externally.
- Find coverage amongst other Resident Care Technicians when calling out or scheduling time off in advance.
- Interact professionally with residents, co-workers, and vendors. Must be able to deal with difficult people with tact and professionalism.
