Teaching:

Teach one section of 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade Math, including Algebra I. Perform additional teacher duties such as study hall, recess/lunch duty, and other subject areas as needed.
- Plan and implement a well-rounded educational program that supports Indiana State Academic Standards, includes play and experiential activities, and evolves from a Christian (LCMS) religious foundation.

Promote and supervise activities that enhance each child's emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development.

Provide and maintain a safe, neat, and organized classroom.

Supervise all activities to ensure each child's safety.

Maintain cooperative relationships with other school and church staff and facilitate cooperation in church and school activities.

Utilize training available through other institutions for continued growth and professional development – workshops, classes, webinars, etc.

Participate in individual staff conferences regularly.

Maintain the school's overall goals and objectives.

Attend staff meetings & professional developments

Notify the administration in the event of absence so that a substitute teacher can be arranged.

Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance.

Participate in school and church activities outside of regular school hours.
Administrative:

Keep the principal informed of classroom goals and extra-curricular activities.

Report any accidents, injuries, or incidents to the Administration and parents in a timely manner. Prepare documentation required.

Keep attendance records, academic files, and progress reports up to date.

Make contact with incoming families at least one month before the start of the new school year.

Complete trainings required by the State of Indiana.
