Position Summary:
The Production Engineer plays a key role at Moveras by solving problems and identifying opportunities for improvement across the entire spectrum of our manufacturing process. This is a hands-on role that relies on technical knowhow, practical experience and strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Support for Production Operations:

Provide technical support to manufacturing to ensure consistent and efficient production.

Analyze production processes and implement engineering solutions that minimize downtime, defects, and inefficiencies.

Contribute to root cause analysis) and implement corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods

Contribute to achieving company-wide quality performance targets.

Process Improvement & Optimization:

Optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality, reduce costs, and increase throughput.

Drive 5S and visual management systems to improve organization, safety, and workplace efficiency.

Support compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Document process improvements to ensure sustainable solution

Technical Leadership & Training:

Mentor and train operators, technicians, and team leaders on technical processes, equipment operation, and continuous improvement tools.

Support cross-training initiatives to improve workforce flexibility and capability.

Stay up to date with transmission industry trends.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field) preferred or 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, automotive related manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in Manufacturing and automatic transmissions, , and process optimization.

Proven experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supply or remanufacturing is highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving capabilities with a track record of implementing solutions to complex production issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.

Strong documentation skills with previous experience creating SOPs.

Eager to take on new challenges with a positive, team-first attitude and a willingness to develop new skills.
