Pacific Research Group LLC, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, is building its monitoring bench for anticipated Good Clinical Practice (GCP) monitoring work supporting VA cooperative clinical studies. This position is contingent upon contract award.
As a Clinical Research Quality Associate (CRQA), you will conduct site initiation, routine, and closeout monitoring visits (on-site and remote) for federally sponsored clinical trials, verify protocol and informed-consent compliance, review source documents, and deliver post-visit reports on a 10-day turnaround — led by ACRP-certified management that has done this work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site and remote monitoring visits per study-specific monitoring plans and ICH E6(R2) GCP
- Verify informed consent, subject eligibility, randomization procedures, investigational product accountability, AE/SAE reporting, and source data
- Perform source document review and verification
- Deliver complete, audit-ready visit reports and investigator summaries within required timelines
Required qualifications (per the government's standards):
- One of the following: Bachelor's degree in a scientific or health-related field; licensure as a healthcare provider (RN, RPh, MD, DO, PA, CNP, etc.); an advanced degree in a health or clinical-research field; OR certification as a Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) by ACRP or an equivalent certifying body
- Documented GCP training from a nationally recognized provider (ACRP, CITI, Barnett International, or CFPA)
- Documented training in clinical trial monitoring and human subjects protection
- U.S. citizenship or work authorization and ability to obtain VA credentialing
Preferred: Monitoring experience with federal or multi-site clinical trials.
Compensation & structure: $65–$90/hour depending on experience and certifications; 1099 or W2 depending on volume and preference. Remote within the US with travel to VA medical centers and affiliated sites nationwide.
