Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Direct Service Provider
Empowered Behavior Solutions is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and highly skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct ABA services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. This position combines direct client intervention with clinical oversight, parent collaboration, staff training, and treatment planning to promote meaningful outcomes and improve quality of life.
The ideal candidate is passionate about providing high-quality, individualized care and enjoys building strong relationships with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Essential Responsibilities Direct Clinical Services
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home
- Implement evidence-based behavioral interventions and skill acquisition programs.
- Conduct ongoing assessments to identify client strengths, needs, and barriers to progress.
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform treatment decisions.
- Utilize natural environment teaching, discrete trial instruction, functional communication training, and other ABA methodologies as appropriate.
Treatment Planning
- Develop, update, and monitor individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) when clinically indicated.
- Modify goals and intervention strategies based on client progress and data analysis.
- Ensure treatment plans remain medically necessary and align with insurance requirements.
Parent and Caregiver Collaboration
- Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization across environments.
- Provide coaching on behavior management strategies, communication skills, daily living skills, and social development.
- Maintain regular communication regarding client progress and recommendations.
Staff Training and Supervision
- Train and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct support staff.
- Provide supervision in accordance with BACB and payer requirements.
- Model intervention procedures and provide performance feedback.
- Support staff in implementing behavior plans with fidelity.
Documentation and Compliance
- Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within required timelines.
- Maintain treatment notes, supervision notes, assessments, progress reports, and authorization requests.
- Ensure compliance with BACB ethical standards, state regulations, and insurance requirements.
- Participate in audits and quality assurance initiatives as needed.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, physicians, and other professionals involved in client care.
- Attend team meetings, IEP meetings, and care coordination meetings as needed.
- Support the organization's mission of providing compassionate, culturally responsive services.
Qualifications
Required
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- Active state licensure (where applicable).
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible caseload.
Preferred
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience providing services in schools, daycares, and community settings.
- Experience supervising RBTs and conducting parent training.
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to move quickly to maintain client safety.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and actively engage with clients throughout sessions.
- Ability to work in various environments including homes, schools, daycares, and community settings.
