We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Senior Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This role involves bridging the gap between engineering design and manufacturing execution for complex electromechanical and medical systems, while also mentoring junior technicians and assemblers to ensure precision, quality, and safety at every stage. Duties:
- Responsible for the quality of all tasks you perform.
- Good soldering skills for both Non-RoHS and RoHS components and assemblies.
- Proficient at following work instructions in an FDA compliant Mfg. environment. This includes reading and understanding schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Proficient in the use of standard hand tools and computer access.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Good leadership, technical training skills and small team production delegation.
- Audit and verify assembly kits in both Just-in-Time (JIT) and batch production environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to investigate and log failure information as it pertains to electro-mechanical assemblies. i.e. probable root cause, and rework instructions.
- Ability to communicate with engineering in order to develop and execute troubleshooting resolutions.
- Support and perform rework activities related to deviations, RMAs and NCMRs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, R&D, and Customer Program Managers (CPMs).
- Provide operations with demand capacity (i.e. resources, materials and process), to meet output.
- Enter production data and documentation into the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system (Arena).
- Utilize common software tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and related applications.
- Must be flexible and willing to learn how to manufacture multiple product lines/customer builds and train assemblers and junior technicians.
Qualifications:
- Two years of Electronics courses is preferred.
- Familiarity with Analog and Digital circuits.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience performing electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in maintaining compliance with Good Documentation Practice.
- Experience working within ISO-regulated environment is preferred.
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
