Job Summary

Duties
- Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during patient consultations and procedures.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, medical history, and treatment plans
- Support medical administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, patient intake, and insurance verification
- Assist with medication administration under supervision and provide patient education on medications and treatments In an Ophthalmic setting.
Experience
- Prior experience in medical office settings with exposure to outpatient clinics or hospital environments is highly preferred
- Hands-on experience in ophthalmology, urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital medicine enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical documentation standards is essential
- Demonstrated proficiency with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) and electronic medical records (EMR) management systems
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to handle diverse clinical situations confidently and compassionately
