Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate your retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales goals.
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, ensuring proper training in sales techniques, POS systems, and customer service standards.
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll.
- Maintain inventory control through accurate stock ordering, and stock rotation practices.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility and drive sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, preferably with supervisory or assistant manager roles.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and communicate expectations clearly.
- Excellent organizational skills with a focus on inventory management, and operational oversight.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for retail math calculations.
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, budgeting, and sales management is preferred.
