JUST A LITTLE SECURITY COMPANY is seeking a reliable, experienced Armed Security Officer to join us. This is a Full/Part time position working either day or evening shift.

Job Duties Include:

Checking IDs for entry
-
Responding to disturbances in or around the shop
-
Actively monitoring shop entry/exit points and floor activities at all time
-
Making periodic rounds in the vicinity of the shop

Staying alert and service and security-focused whenever in guest areas
-
Answering guest questions, assisting on the sales floor as needed
Requirements:
-
1 year + of security guard experience
- An Active Armed Security guard license

Must be at least 21 years of age
-
Must have current firearm permit
-
Certification for 47 hour firearm course
-
Certifications for 8 & 16 hour guard courses.

Certification for 8 hour annual security training
-
Certification for 8 hour annual firearm training
-
Work experience in a Security/Door Person role is required

Outstanding customer service skills

Able to work a varied schedule, including days, evening, weekends and holidays, as business requires

Can work within strict compliance requirements while keeping a positive attitude

A proven track record of success diffusing difficult situations while working in a security role
Experience:
