Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Packaging Line Lead to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our packaging production line. In this role, you will ensure that packaging processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. The Packaging Line Lead will motivate and guide team members, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and uphold compliance with manufacturing and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily packaging line activities, ensuring production goals are met with accuracy and efficiency
- Lead, motivate, and train team members on proper packaging procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor equipment performance; perform basic troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and other machinery to facilitate smooth workflow
- Maintain adherence to CGMP standards to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular inspections of packaging materials, finished products, and work areas for quality assurance
- Assist in inventory management within the warehouse environment, including stock rotation and material handling
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality checks during production processes
Skills
- Proven experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments with a focus on packaging operations
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand tools, and other warehouse machinery safely
- Strong understanding of CGMP guidelines relevant to manufacturing settings
- Familiarity with machining processes and the use of hand tools for minor repairs or adjustments
- Basic math skills for measurements, counting, and quality control tasks
- Warehouse experience with inventory management and material handling procedures
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate team members effectively
