Role: Travel Certified Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Rochester, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks contract
Shift: 08 hour night shift
Schedule: 40 hours per week/5 days in a week
Pay breakdown:
- Hourly rate - $38.00 [$16.50 taxable | $21.50 non-taxable]
- OT rate - $49.00
- Weekly Gross - $1,520.00 [$660.00 taxable | $860.00 stipend]
Job Summary:
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
The Certified Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) is responsible for the decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures compliance with infection control standards and supports safe, high-quality patient care across all clinical departments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of recent SPT experience Required
- AHA BLS certification Required
- (HSPA or CBSPD) certification Required
- Large hospital experience (500 bed plus) Required
- Travel experience Required
No locals Must comply with 50 miles radius rule
