Job Summary
We're looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our restaurant team. In this role, you'll support daily operations, oversee staff, and ensure our guests have a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, experienced in food service management, and ready to lead with enthusiasm.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and staff supervision.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently.
- Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Train and develop team members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations, food safety standards, and cleanliness protocols.
- Participate in budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost control efforts to maximize restaurant profitability.
Qualifications
- Proven assistant manager or supervisory experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling safety practices.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and communicate clearly.
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations.
- Familiarity with food industry standards including kitchen management, food safety, and inventory control.
