American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position at a Level I Trauma Center, requiring at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and prior travel experience.

Short-term acute care hospital setting, Level I Trauma Center

Med/Surg Telemetry unit
-
Team nursing model with a patient ratio of 1:7; support provided by PCCs, RNs, and other team members

Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Weekend rotation required as needed

On-call required as needed
-
Floating may occur between like units and nearby campuses within 20 miles

Cerner EMR experience preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid Compact (NLC) license currently in hand — no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required; 3+ years preferred

Level I Trauma Center experience required

Large hospital experience required

At least one completed prior travel nursing assignment required

ADN or higher accepted for this position

Driver's License required for consideration

First-time travelers are not eligible for this position; at least one completed travel assignment is required

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must be separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment period, travelers must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked

All requested time off must be submitted upfront and will not be approved after an offer has been extended
