About the Role:
As a CBRE Data Sr. Analyst, you will perform a variety of analyses to ensure that recommendations and business conclusions are backed by sound data findings and thorough dataresearch.
This job ispart of the Data Science& Analytics job function. Theyare responsible for reviewing data that supports improving effectiveness andpredicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate data aggregation and curate complex reports using various business intelligence and reportingapplications
Perform ad-hoc, strategic review ofstructured and unstructured data, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets
Develop data structuresand pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize information to generate insights and addressreporting needs
Define complex data requirements and gather information using judgment and statistical tests
Use programming and evaluation tools, including open-source programs to plan models and extract insights
Identify opportunities to maximize datausage. Apply modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies andimprove business performance
Develop ad-hoc reporting based on the review of existing data sources
Exhibit rigor, judgment, and ability to present a highlydetailed 'data story' to many levels of the organization
Confirm the quality and integrity of new and existing data sources
Collaborate with operational teams to provide recommendations and communications on enhancing existing or new processes and programs
Apply generalknowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solveroutine problems
Have a broad knowledge of one's own job discipline and some knowledge of severaljob disciplines within the function
Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team; work within guidelines and policies
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Will need ability to influence to reachan agreement
Work primarily within standardized procedures and practicesto achieve objectives and meetdeadlines Explain complex information toothers in straightforward situations
Ability todocument processes What You'll Need:
Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of adegree. Master's degree preferred
Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve complex problems
Ability to understand possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriatejudgment and precedents
In-depth knowledge of MicrosoftOffice products. Examples include PowerBi, Power Automate, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
Experience with data analysis, data modeling, and data visualization tools, specifically Alteryx,PowerBi and Tableau
Proficiency in programminglanguages specifically: SQL and Python
Some data engineering skills preferred including PySparkfor Microsoft Fabric and Databricks
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skillsand attention to detail; leveragingAI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Co-Pilot.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of CMMS systems is preferred
