Duties
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and materials handling to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain precise stock levels and reduce discrepancies.
- Implement process improvements utilizing lean management principles to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during heavy lifting, mechanical tasks, and general warehouse activities.
- Coordinate logistics with third-party logistics providers (3PL) for outbound shipments and inbound deliveries to optimize distribution channels.
- Utilize tools such as AS400 systems for order processing and inventory tracking to streamline operations.
- Maintain accurate shipping & receiving records while managing the movement of goods using forklifts and other materials handling equipment.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques, warehouse distribution processes, and logistics coordination.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment such as forklifts and other heavy lifting machinery; forklift certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate staff, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting.
- Experience working within e-commerce fulfillment centers or 3PL providers is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on process improvement initiatives like lean management techniques.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
