Director of InfoSec Risk Management
We are seeking a dynamic Director of InfoSec Risk Management to join our Risk team in St. Louis Park. Information Security is paramount to enabling Bridgewater Bank’s growth and success as the finest entrepreneurial bank in the Twin Cities.
Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, the Director of InfoSec Risk Management will collaborate with leaders across all functions and lines of defense to identify, measure, monitor and mitigate information security risks needed to support the Enterprise Risk Management program.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partner with the Chief Risk Officer, Chief Technology Officer, and the VP of Risk Management in continuous improvement of the bank’s information security oversight programs. Specifically, this person will coordinate and execute proactive oversight programs in partnership with the 1st Line of Defense and Technology teams covering:
User Access and SoD Program oversight
Business Continuity Planning & Disaster Recovery governance
ID Theft Program oversight and enhancement
Vendor Risk SOC (System and Organization Controls) and Information Security Reviews
Manage and coordinate remediation efforts where security assessment findings outline gaps requiring attention
Report on the effectiveness of IT (Information Technology) security controls and control tests and coordinate maintain annual risk assessments in support of the security framework
Develop, enhance, and maintain Risk reporting for Operational Risk Management Committee, the Senior Leadership Team, and the Board of Directors
Develop, enhance, and maintain oversight, awareness, and escalation of State privacy laws as they related to information and data security
Actively partner with Technology and Finance to ensure Risk’s data needs are being met and proper data governance and controls are created and maintained
Facilitate a risk culture of continuous improvement by proposing scalable information security program enhancements and making recommendations to management
Curate and oversee company wide information security training for new, modified, or expanded products, services, or initiatives
Aid in the enhancement of the GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) solution to enable broader user adoption and efficiency
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's in information security risk management, finance, economics, or another business-related field
4+ years of banking or finance related experience collaborating on the design or assessment of information security assessments
Knowledgeable of security and controls testing, technical and process solutions to be successful. Able to provide subject matter expertise as required enhance the information security oversight processes
Experience using structured and unstructured data to compile analyses within data visualization tools
Proficiency in O365 and other Microsoft applications
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking ability, and accuracy
