Club Instructor – Dance (K–5th)
Happy Trails Afterschool Club is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Dance Club Instructor to inspire students in Kindergarten through 5th grade through fun, engaging, and interactive dance lessons. Help students build confidence, coordination, creativity, teamwork, and self-expression while fostering a lifelong love of movement in a positive after-school environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead engaging weekly dance classes and activities.
- Teach age-appropriate dance techniques, routines, and choreography in a variety of dance styles.
- Promote teamwork, confidence, creativity, and good sportsmanship.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment.
- Prepare students for an optional end-of-session performance.
- Track attendance and communicate with program staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching dance or leading youth dance programs.
- Experience working with elementary-aged children.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching.
- Must be able to pass a Level II Background Screening (paid for by Happy Trails Afterschool Club).
Position: Part-Time, After School 1:45 PM – 3:15 PM
Pay: Competitive hourly rate
Pay: $28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
