Travel Occupational Therapist - Outpatient

Job Details

American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient setting requiring OT experience and an active Michigan OT license.

Prior Occupational Therapy experience required
Active BLS certification (AHA) required
Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required, if applicable
Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Occupational Therapy required for consideration
Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required for consideration

Evaluate patient function through formal and informal testing measures covering skeletal, neurological, respiratory, cardiovascular, developmental, social, and cognitive status
Develop and update goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
Coordinate treatment plans with physicians and co-sign verbal orders from Occupational Therapist Assistants as needed
Devise treatment schedules in coordination with patients, families, and clinical support staff
Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding condition, prognosis, and treatment rationale
Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants, Home Health Aides, and students per regulatory standards
Facility requires candidates to reside outside a 50-mile radius and will not consider local candidates
No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment
