Position Overview:
The Healthcare Support Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients. This position requires a dedicated individual who is a fast learner, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answering phone calls and addressing patient inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow in the clinic.
- Faxing documents and communicating with other healthcare providers as needed.
- Inputting patient information accurately into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Assisting physicians with patient examinations and procedures, if needed.
- Performing EKGs and other basic clinical tasks, as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Supporting front desk operations and collaborating with team members to enhance patient care.
- Upholding the clinic's culture of respect, kindness, and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Outstanding interpersonal communication through a history in customer service.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A genuine passion for providing exceptional patient care and support.
