Responsibilities

- Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions, cash handling, and cash drawer management with precision
- Maintain well-stocked shelves through efficient stocking and merchandising practices to ensure an attractive shopping environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly
- Support store operations by managing POS (Point of Sale) systems and performing basic math for transactions and inventory counts
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone or via other communication channels
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and organizing retail displays to enhance product visibility
- Engage in ongoing product knowledge training to stay informed about store offerings and assist customers effectively
- Promote a positive shopping experience through friendly communication skills and proactive assistance
Requirements
- Prior experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash register operations, and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and active listening
- Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and customer service best practices
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Excellent phone etiquette when engaging with customers over the phone or in person
