American Traveler is hiring a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for night shift travel contract in Sanford, ME, with a minimum of 2 years of experience across ICU, ED, and Nursery settings.

Position is located in the Respiratory Therapy department of an acute care hospital in Sanford, ME
-
Experience required across multiple care settings including ICU, ED (including pediatric patients requiring intubation and mechanical ventilation), Level 1 Nursery (high-risk C-sections and resuscitation team), and Med/Surg floors

Night shift hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

13-week contract

May be required to float between campuses within a 25-mile radius as needed

EMR: Epic (experience required)

Equipment includes Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, and NeopuffT-piece resuscitator

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, ED, and Nursery settings

Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required

Experience with Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators and NeopuffT-piece resuscitator required

Proficiency with Epic documentation system required

Valid Driver's License required for consideration

SSN and DOB required for consideration

2 professional references required for consideration

Responsibilities include managing patients requiring mechanical ventilation and intubation, attending high-risk C-sections, and participating as a member of the resuscitation team

Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility (in Maine or New Hampshire) are considered local and may be subject to a different bill rate; local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
