Vacation Rental Set Up Assistant
We are an Austin vacation rental company looking for a part-time set up assistant!
Job duties:
- Assemble new furniture, break down and remove old furniture
- Install blinds, shades, curtain rods
- Patch, texture and paint holes in walls
- Painting accent walls and ceilings, Touch up paint
- Hang art, mirrors, etc.
- Install new door hardware, including smart locks and key pad locks
- Miscellaneous “handyman” tasks
- Install new light fixtures, thermostats, door bells (replace existing ones)
- Swap out new plumbing fixtures like faucets, shower heads
- Move and breakdown boxes
- Trash management - bag up trash generated by set up work and keep neatly organized
- Supply pick ups - pick up supply orders at Home Depot and bring to site
- Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs
- Must have your own vehicle, truck preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
If you are a reliable, independent worker with great communication skills this job is for you! You will work closely with our interior designer and set up manager on what tasks need to be completed and when. Experience assembling furniture and doing basic home repairs is required. You must have your own reliable vehicle and a working smart phone.
Majority of work is located East of I-35. We have work available immediately, so apply today!

Pay: $22.00 per hour
