American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist proficient in both X-Ray and Mammography, with active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications, for a 13-week travel assignment in Pittsfield, MA.

Outpatient/hospital-based mammography setting performing both general X-Ray and mammography procedures

Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday

40 hours per week

Holiday coverage required as needed

No on-call requirements

Uses PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
-
Meditech Expanse EMR experience is highly preferred
-
Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience with at least 1 year of current experience

Minimum 2 years of current Mammography experience
-
Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
-
Active AHA BLS certification required
-
MA Radiology license required if applicable
-
Current Mammography and X-Ray skills checklists (within the past year) required for consideration
-
1 supervisory-signed reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration

Must be proficient in both X-Ray and Mammography specialties

Must be willing to work weekends and evenings

Must have a personal vehicle

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
-
Perform a wide variety of radiologic and mammography procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
-
May be assigned supervisory or instructional responsibilities by the Lead Technologist or Operations Manager

Demonstrates proper operation and troubleshooting of CR, DR, and PACS applications
-
Maintains current continuing education requirements for both radiology and mammography

Practices infection control, body substance isolation, and patient confidentiality in compliance with OSHA and hospital standards

Candidates currently working a concurrent permanent or travel assignment will not be considered

Schedule accommodation requests (e.g., block scheduling) and 10- or 12-hour shift requests will not be considered
