As a Construction Laborer, you will support skilled tradespeople by preparing sites, handling materials, and assisting with various construction tasks to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. We specialize in Concrete and general hardscape construction.
Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure a safe and organized work environment
- Operate power tools and hand tools such as drills, saws, shovels, picks, hammers for general construction
- Support concrete-related activities including mixing, pouring, finishing, and pumping concrete for foundations, slabs, or decorative surfaces
- Install formwork, rebar and general prep for concrete
- Perform masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stucco application, tile laying, or stonework with precision and attention to detail
- Operate heavy equipment like forklifts or concrete pumps safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Maintain a clean work site by organizing materials, disposing of debris properly, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed at all times
- Drive work truck to and from construction site
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity in using hand tools and power tools effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper form and technique
- Skills in rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, framing carpentry, are advantageous
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skidsteers or excavators is desirable
- Valid driver’s license
