Step Van Delivery Driver – $24 per hour
Athwal FDS is a contract delivery firm delivering packages for FedEx. We are currently looking to add delivery drivers to our team. Driver’s primary responsibility is to deliver packages to our home and business customers. We are hiring candidates for the BLOOMINGTON & CHINO locations. Athwal FDS operates out of multiple hub locations in Southern California, any employee must be willing to travel to other service areas should the need arise.
Starting wage for this position is $22 per hour. After successful completion of a 90-day probationary period employees automatically progress to $24 per hour.

Candidates should have open availability; the days off for this position vary based on final placement. Typically, drivers for this position should expect to be on duty between the hours of 8:30AM and 5:00PM.
All delivery routes are located in the Inland Empire (Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario, Corona, Mira Loma).
FedEx contract drivers with Athwal FDS load and deliver packages to local homes and businesses in one of our fleet vehicles. A successful candidate will be reliable and responsible and must be able to work independently. The successful candidate for this position will run a delivery route out of an 18’ Step Truck, the primary delivery location will be residential & business areas including homes, mobile homes, condos, apartments, retail businesses, and distribution facilities. Deliveries frequently require repetitive lifting of boxes up to 70lbs without assistance and require the driver to be able to safely climb into and out of the vehicle’s cargo area.
We’re currently looking for drivers with demonstratable delivery experience of at least one year within the past three years. Candidates submitting applications for this position should clearly show at least one year of delivery experience with a truck size comparable to the one listed above. Without clear demonstration of experience your application will be screened out of the hiring process.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates are required to have the following.
- Minimum 1-year verifiable delivery experience within the past 3 years.
- Clean DMV record.
- Be able to pass a background check - no misdemeanors or felonies.
- Be able to pass a drug screen / DOT Medical Exam.
- Be at least 21 years old.
- Be able to lift 70+ lbs.
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Have safety as a priority.
- Work well with a team.
- Must be highly self-motivated and able to work independent of direct supervision.
