Living and Balance Wellness Center is a growing behavioral health organization dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate, and community-centered mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, and families throughout Arizona.
We are seeking an organized, clinically driven, and leadership-minded Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our team in a Clinical Program Coordinator role. This position provides an opportunity to support clinical operations, staff development, compliance, and quality assurance while working under the supervision of an LCSW.
Position Summary
The Clinical Program Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day oversight of our therapy and internship programs, ensuring clinical documentation quality, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting staff success.
This position combines clinical leadership, quality assurance, supervision support, and direct client care.
Essential Responsibilities:
Clinical Oversight & Documentation
- Review and sign clinical documentation as permitted by licensure and agency requirements
- Review progress notes, treatment plans, intakes, assessments, and other client care documentation
- Support documentation compliance and quality improvement initiatives
- Assist with corrective action planning and documentation coaching when needed
Staff & Intern Support
- Provide clinical supervision support under the direction of an LCSW
- Assist with onboarding, training, and development of therapists and interns
- Monitor therapist and intern caseloads to support productivity goals and client access to care
- Coordinate or provide shadowing opportunities and clinical observation experiences for interns
- Serve as a resource for clinical staff regarding documentation and best practices
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Conduct monthly chart audits of at least 10% of active client records
- Monitor compliance with agency policies, payer requirements, and regulatory standards
- Assist with incident reporting, mandated reporting, and risk management processes
- Support preparation for internal audits and external reviews
Direct Clinical Services
- Maintain approximately 20–25 productive client care hours per week
- Provide individual, family, or group counseling services as assigned
- Complete clinical documentation within required timeframes
QualificationsRequired
- Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Active Arizona LMSW license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills
- Knowledge of Arizona behavioral health regulations and compliance standards
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
Preferred
- Experience supervising interns or clinical staff
- Experience with behavioral health audits and quality assurance
- Experience in community behavioral health settings
- Familiarity with AHCCCS-funded services
- Experience using electronic health record systems
