What You’ll Do
As a PACU Nurse, you will play a critical role in ensuring safe and smooth recovery for patients following procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor patients during immediate post-anesthesia recovery
- Assess airway, vital signs, neurologic status, and pain levels
- Administer medications and manage post-op symptoms (pain, nausea, etc.)
- Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and clinical staff
- Provide clear discharge instructions to patients and families
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EMR
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition in a high-acuity setting
What We’re Looking For
✅ Active Arizona RN license
✅ BLS & ACLS certification (required)
✅ Previous PACU, ICU, ER, or surgical recovery experience preferred
✅ Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
✅ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced ASC environment
✅ Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
✅ Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
