Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with memory-related conditions in a nurturing environment. Your contributions will help enhance the quality of life for our residents, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their dignity and independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide medication administration as prescribed, ensuring adherence to care plans.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary, catering to individual dietary needs.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction.
- Lift and transfer residents safely using proper techniques and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the facility, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Support residents with mobility challenges, ensuring they can navigate the facility comfortably.
Skills
- Experience in memory care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing care and support to others.
- Ability to lift and assist residents safely while maintaining their dignity.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus.
- Familiarity with home care practices or experience in group homes or retirement homes is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential traits for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
