Laboratory Materials Testing Manager

Expected workload includes a mix of laboratory materials testing with a focus on soils, aggregates and concrete. Upon completion of initial training, candidates will be expected to:
· Maintain, calibrate, and verify equipment
· Provide training for new laboratory technicians
· Maintain, update, and improve laboratory quality systems
· Participate in and manage onsite assessments associated with Caltrans, AASHTO Re:Source, CCRL, and DSA
Clean driving record and pre-employment physical required. Position requires occasional local travel and regular handling of heavy material samples and testing equipment. Come join a fun, fast paced atmosphere. Salary DOE/Q.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Laboratory materials testing: 3+ years (Required)
Licenses/Certifications:
- Driver's License (Required)
- ACI and Caltrans Laboratory Technician certifications (Preferred).
- Willingness to obtain ACI, Caltrans, other pertinent certifications as needed (Required).
