Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Upsell menu items like specialty cocktails, wines, or desserts to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including sales transaction processing and handling cash register operations
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations through bussing and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or high-volume settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for order processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest relations
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while multitasking efficiently
- Knowledge of wine varieties, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
- Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation standards required; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus
- Previous experience with reservation systems like OpenTable is advantageous
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to support guest services seamlessly
