Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Maintenance Handyman to support the upkeep and operational efficiency of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a broad and varied skill set in mechanical, electrical, and facility maintenance experience. This role requires proactive problem-solving, and excellent customer service skills to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for our residents. The Maintenance Handyman will play a vital role in executing routine repairs, troubleshooting issues, and supervising maintenance activities to uphold high standards of safety and quality.
Duties
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Perform routine repairs on all equipment and take part in the cleaning of all equipment.
2. Should be able to run errands upon request.
3. Conduct sschedduled preventative maintenance checks and audits as requested.
4. Must be able to take instruction and follow through on requests by director.
5. Be on call for emergencies and respond quickly to facility.
6. Performs routine maintenance tasks which include, but is not limited to: painting, wallpapering, etc.
7. Must be able to work well with all departments in facility.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
1. Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
2. Must be able to use proper tools for necessary repairs and projects.
3. Must be able to read at a level sufficient to read directions and procedures
4. Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally, fostering a positive environment for residents or staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
