Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Food Packer to join our team. In this role, you will be the final line of defense ensuring our food looks great, is packed securely, and matches the customer's order perfectly before it leaves the kitchen. You will work closely with the kitchen staff and delivery drivers to ensure a seamless takeout and delivery experience.
Duties
- Order Verification: Carefully review kitchen tickets to ensure all items, modifications, and special requests are present and correct.
- Packaging & Assembly: Pack food items using the correct containers, ensuring proper portion control, temperature maintenance, and presentation.
- Quality Control: Inspect dishes for freshness and presentation before sealing packages. Ensure hot foods stay hot and cold foods stay cold.
- Condiments & Utensils: Include all necessary utensils, napkins, and condiments (sauces, dressings) based on the order and restaurant standards.
- Station Maintenance: Keep the packaging station clean, sanitized, organized, and fully stocked with bags, containers, labels, and utensils.
- Coordination: Effectively communicate with line cooks, front-of-house staff, and third-party delivery drivers (UberEats, DoorDash, etc.) to ensure timely order pickups.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a restaurant, fast-food, or catering environment is preferred but not required.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to spot missing items or incorrect modifications in a fast-paced environment.
- Speed & Stamina: Able to work quickly under pressure during peak hours and stand for extended periods.
- Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Food Safety: Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices (a Food Handler’s Card is a plus).

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
