The Estates of Spanish Lake is a Skilled Nursing Facility with a focus on Behavioral Health Care looking for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPNs) to provide excellent clinical care to our residents. The successful candidate will be licensed in the State of Missouri, have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in geriatric medicine.
Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license on MO
- Supervision of CNA's & CMT's
- Prior long-term experience is a plus
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):
- Provide direct patient care, including catheterization, tube feeding, and IV insertion, while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans, particularly for geriatric patients.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and communicate effectively with patients and families, utilizing Spanish language skills when necessary.
- Support patients with developmental disabilities and assist in critical care situations as needed.
