Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Overhead Dock Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing or servicing dock levelers, dock restraints, dock shelters, and/or dock seals.
Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair overhead doors, dock levelers, dock seals, and related equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety
- Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company standards
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs and recommendations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
- 2+ years of experience with overhead doors, dock equipment, or similar mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in dock equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately for fabrication and installation tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
