Landmark Plastic Corporation is seeking dependable and motivated Seasonal Packers to support production during our busy summer season (July through August). Seasonal Packers play an important role in ensuring our customers receive high-quality products by inspecting, packaging, and preparing plastic horticultural products for shipment in a safe and efficient manner.
This is a temporary seasonal position expected to last approximately July through August, with schedules based on production needs.

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet Landmark Plastic quality standards.

Remove and separate nonconforming products for recycling.

Package finished products according to customer specifications and work instructions.

Count and stack products accurately.
-
Maintain production speed while ensuring quality standards are met.

Assist machine operators by keeping workstations supplied and organized.

Inspect products for defects such as:
-
Flash
-
Short shots
-
Damage
-
Color inconsistencies
-
Contamination
-
Notify the Crew Supervisor or Machine Operator immediately if quality concerns are identified.

Follow all customer packaging specifications.
-
Record production counts as required.
-
Accurately document scrap and downtime when assigned.
-
Complete required production paperwork.
-
Follow all Landmark Plastic safety policies and procedures.
-
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-
Report unsafe conditions immediately.
-
Participate in daily housekeeping activities.
-
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
-
Assist coworkers as needed to maintain production flow.
-
Support shift change communication.
-
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Ability to read and understand basic work instructions.

Basic math skills.
-
Ability to accurately count and package products.

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Strong attendance and reliability.

Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
The employee must be able to:

Stand and walk for extended periods.

Frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.

Bend, reach, squat, twist, and perform repetitive hand movements.

Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Wear required PPE throughout the shift.
Employees work in a manufacturing facility where they may be exposed to:

Proper PPE is required at all times.

Temporary seasonal employment from July through August.

Full-time hours based on production demands.
